Music Does Have a Future!

“Life is more important than blogging!”

As wrong as that may sound, it is true. It is also the reason why I have been absent this past week. However in my time off from the blog I attended the Vapor Independant Music Showcase @ the El Mocambo. the show was terrific and featured some great local acts.

Holy Fuck, Shad & DJ Tee-Lo, Young Galaxy, Major Maker, Apostle of Hustle and Jason Collett.

The main thing that this show did was show me how alive local music is. I think this proves how important it is to nurture local music and find new and innovative ways to promote these acts. I believe that although technology can join people together from a great distance, it is even more important to connect those right beside each other.
